Janine Huber – Reading and Writing Tutor at Arvada Learning & Coaching Janine Huber is a highly skilled reading and writing tutor with a robust background in education. Adept at identifying optimal curricula and developing lesson plans, Janine aligns her instruction with current learning goals to ensure student success. She is a meticulous planner, problem-solver, and analytical leader, recognized for her strong attention to detail and sound judgment, all while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement. Janine’s leadership is characterized by her decisive, practical, and strategic approach to operations and team management. Janine holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Purdue University, earned in May 1992. Her extensive career includes roles such as Director of Education at Huntington Learning Center in both Charlotte, NC, and Buffalo, NY (1991-2000), and later in Broomfield, CO (2011-2022). In these positions, she was responsible for developing and maintaining educational programs for K-12 students, conducting monthly parent conferences to review student progress, and collaborating with school teachers to discuss individual education plans. She also played a crucial role in hiring and training teachers, administering student testing, and implementing online programs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Janine’s experience also spans substitute teaching for grades K-5 in various schools, including North Tonawanda Catholic Schools in NY (2001-2009), Adams 12 Five Star School District in CO (2007-2011), and Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School in CO (2006-2011). Additionally, she served as Director of Operations at Bunny Bunch Daycare & Preschool in Wheatfield, NY (2003-2005), where she hired and trained staff, developed preschool curricula, and ensured compliance with federal and state guidelines.
